Here we introduce to you a cool and funny film, which is very interesting and unique. It comes from the director Hayao Miyazaki. The film story is about a girl named Chihiro, who has to move to a new city for her father's job, but during the transfer she gets lost and gets mistakenly kidnapped by gods. She ends up in this alternate world called Yume-chikujo that’s filled with spirits of all shapes and sizes; one of them takes her as an apprentice as they go along on an epic quest together. The film then takes place in the past where a young girl named Mimi is having a birthday party. Mimi's parents are both busy working, so her family gives her a makeover to make her look older, the birthday girl reveals it anyway. Then, she gets angry with her mother's absence and leaves home without telling anyone including her best friend Kohei. She eventually gets to the woods where she meets an ogre who takes her in and tells her that his sister has disappeared. Upon finding out that the ogre's sister was last seen at their house, he said that he'll bring Mimi there, but shortly after arriving they are interrupted by the Red Hat Bandit who takes them there. After which, the ogre's sister appears and takes Mimi to her house where she ties up Mimi before returning home. When Mimi wakes up, she is in a strange room, and a strange creature named Haku tells her that she is a god and should use her powers to help others. He then explains that after going into a mountain because of loneliness, he ended up getting trapped there for twenty-five years. After discovering his purpose as a god he was allowed to leave after doing mediations for people, but as he walked out of the mountain the other gods brought him back without his permission as punishment for getting trapped there. Mimi is then thrown into a strange nightmarish world called Yumechikujo where she meets with the caterpillar-like god named Lucky who helps her repair the bridge to get back home. When she gets back Chihiro meets her father, but he soon leaves for work. Mimi decides to go after him, but ends up getting lost in the forest. She then meets an old lady who puts her up for the night before telling her that they are gods, according to her. On the way, she is again told by Haku that this place is not real and it's just a dream inside of a dream. He also tells her to wake up so she can't get trapped here like him. She then wakes up, but the old lady isn't happy at all telling them that they need to leave. Mimi then runs away and meets with the old lady’s husband, who reveals that her husband is controlling her mind not letting her go to sleep ever again. As he is about to force his wife’s spirit out she reveals that she had an accident and killed people in a car crash. This caused her body to rot away but she was able to become a god through this power, which allows her to use magic; however, once you become a god you can't go back.
